Lifted aromatics of yellow peach, honeysuckle, orange rind and toasty oak notes. The palate is rich and generous with yellow stone fruit, honeydew melon and cashew flavours evident. The acid is fine, and delicately frames the wine, while the creamy French oak is perfectly balanced as it runs through the palate, and combines with a citrus note to give a long, elegant finish.
Pair with a white flesh fish and citrus butter.

Heath Road Chardonnay 2023
WINE ORBIT - Sam Kim - 93 points
"Beautifully styled and inviting, the bouquet shows white flesh stone fruit, rockmelon, roasted cashew and subtle vanilla characters. The palate offers juicy fruit flavours with richly textured mouthfeel, well countered by bright acidity, finishing lingering and delectable. At its best: now to 2029."
THE WINE PILOT - Jeni Port - 92 points
"A celebration of Margaret River chardonnay at a fair price and it rocks! Impressive quality on show here. Sunny, sea spray aromas – so inviting – mix with ripe yellow peach, nectarine, grapefruit zest and mango skin. Fermentation in barrel and 10 months maturation in French puncheons and barriques brings some scintillating textural interplay between an almond creaminess and edgy acidity to the wine. So bright it shines on the palate in lemon sorbet, citrus and white peach with a flash of fruit tingly lift to the finish. Alive and zesty to the hilt." Drink now - 2030.
THE WINE PILOT - Cassandra Charlick - 92 points
"Bright and pithy. This is all citrus, soft morning light and a haze of sea spray. A dusting of jasmine blossom and a lick of wet stone. Echoes of flint. The palate is not one of dazzling intensity, rather it is more of a gently simmering. Oak is restrained, nice fruit at its core with crunchy stone fruit and chamomile, and a little dried herbal hint and a pleasant fruit-toned freshness. Mid to light body for a chardy. Rather tight and linear with moderate length and fine texture.
