"It's brightly fruited and intensely aromatic on the nose, showing green rockmelon, crunchy apple, basil and jasmine notes, leading to a splendidly flavoursome palate offering excellent fruit purity combined with zesty acidity, making it tasty and highly enjoyable. At its best: now to 2027." January 2024

"This is a classic savvy offering all the passionfruit and gooseberry fruitiness you want with this style. It’s crunchy and bright with refreshing acidity shaping a very long palate. A small amount of barrel fermentation has bright textural richness to the middle palate. Clean and crunchy with a refreshing finish. Cellar 3 years."

"Refreshingly, old-school sav blancs are coming out of the woodwork, or in this case, the hive. The sweet but savoury acidity and scents of cut grass and passionfruit are a delight to a palate wearied by a sea of bitter and dull pinot gris."
